Brian Casey is an independent Humanitarian Consultant with 14 years’ experience designing, managing and monitoring emergency programmes. He has worked in over 20 disaster affected countries across a broad spectrum of natural and human made crises.
He was formally the Head of Humanitarian Programmes with GOAL and had overall responsibility for the organisation’s emergency operations. Brian holds a first class Masters in Humanitarian Action from University College Dublin (UCD) and is an Adjunct Lecturer on the Network for Humanitarian Action (NOHA) Programme in UCD. Prior to his involvement in the humanitarian sector, Brian worked as an accountant (CIMA qualified) in the media industry for 9 years and also holds a degree in Business and Finance.
