Dr. Lorna Gold is Head of Policy and Advocacy in Trócaire and a Senior Research Associate and board member with Kimmage DSC. Prior to working in Trócaire, she worked in the Department of Politics at the University of York, where she was the recipient of the Joseph Rowntree Centennial Fellowship and an ESRC post-doctoral fellowship. She has a PhD from the Department of Geography at the University of Glasgow.
She writes widely on a broad range of development issues, including the Milliennium Development Goals and the relationship between Catholic Social Teaching and ethical business models. She has a particular interest in the changing shape of Ireland’s development policy.
