Kimmage students and alumni featured in a number of recent articles in the Irish Times. Current MA students Robel Shiferaw Melese, Mesay Tekalign Mizana and Wendmagegnehu Niku Yisrashe, all from  Ethopia, featured in the “New to the Parish” column (Photo: Cyril Byrne, Irish Times).

In addition, BA graduates Mavie Kitenge and Salome Mbugua featured in the article “Support for Congolese rape victims not matched by action“.

Finally, current student Ifrah Ahmed was the subject of the article “Woman who sought asylum in Ireland to advise Somali PM“. Ms. Ahmed is completing the Kimmage Open Distance Education course “Understanding & Addressing Gender Based Violence”.
