Niamh Journeys to Vietnam for Sustainability

Niamh Rooney packed her nón lá hat for Vietnam and the closing event of the Journeys of Sustainability project, which brought together 15 organisations from Europe and South East Asia to discuss sustainable tourism and capacity building for youth and youth workers.

Kimmage DSC are a partner in the project, which is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, and coordinated by Jaunimo savanoriškos veiklos centras “Deineta” (Youth Voluntary Service Centre “Deinata”) in Lithuania. Ruth Powell of Comhlámh who teaches English to our international MA students, accompanied Niamh on the trip, and blogged about her experience.

Niamh leads the Kimmage DSC Capacity Development Services programme, and also lectures on our MA programme (and BA programme in Maynooth University).
