Oliver Noonan and Rob Kevlihan at 2016 Conferring Ceremony

We were delighted to welcome Oliver Noonan, our very first graduate of the Flexible and Distance Learning MA Programme, to Kimmage Manor last week for the conferring of his MA in Development Studies degree at the 2016 Conferring Ceremony. Oliver was one of the first students when the distance MA programme started in 2013, and completed his dissertation this year.

Oliver is based in Kenya, and completed his studies entirely online, including the six mandatory and five elective modules. He also completed his dissertation remotely, Skyping Rob Kevlihan his tutor for virtual meetings. His dissertation title is “Pokot and Turkana Conflict: A Case Study of the Siege at Loregon” (in Northern Kenya).
